The MAX 2.5A utilizes dual 12" low frequency drivers in a tuned enclosure, which provides maximum output with minimal distortion and unusually smooth low frequency response. A 3" compression driver with an aluminum diaphragm coupled to a stabilized waveguide delivers clear but penetrating high frequencies over a controlled and easily predictable coverage area. The recommended MAX C-42 series controller includes frequency dividing network, minimal equalization and driver time compensation providing optimum performance for four discrete channels in a single rack space.
